Austria Ski Trip - ANY NEWS???????
« Thread started on: Sep 7th, 2009, 02:44am »

Hi Carol

We spoke a couple of months ago regarding this and at the time you was awaiting information back from the hotel.

Does it look promising

Thanks
Ronnie

Hi Ronnie
The news is not good unfortunately. The resort and hotel are so popular that we have failed to secure any rooms for February or Easter as the hotel is already full. This does not mean that we won't be going there at all. We are planning to put a summer activity holiday there and get our request in early for rooms for next February and Easter 2011.

We are now concentrating our efforts on Canada for Easter and of course we still have our popular regular of Levi in Lapland for February 2010.

Don't worry about the cold, it can be as warm as -3c and the skiing is great. The accommodation is lovely there, Ellie will tell you all about it, she and Dom have been there loads of times.

Yup, I'd be there in a heartbeat, only Feb half term is looking to be hugely busy at work so that's why it's probably going to be Easter next year...

Your just waiting for Canada to be put up on the website lol

Spoke to Carol eariler, still not sure what to do.

HOT / COLD - XMAS / FEB

She mentioned that they may do a Ski Holiday over Christmas next year, now that would be good.

I HATE CHRISTMAS AT HOME

O, I love Finland every bit as much as Canada!! We went every year for Christmas for five years - cos I don't like Christmas at home either - then switched to Feb skiing when Dom got too old to search for Santa (I still miss it!)
Thing for me is, I need to take my mum. So, cold or hot is fine, just needs to be luxury and pretty accessable cos (and she'd swipe me for saying it) she's getting on a bit..!!

Lets hope she dont read these threads lol

Really wanted to get away this Christmas, but nothing takes my fancy.

Was going to look at Mango, but got some really bad reports, so best stick with SM as we know its going to be great every time.

So heres hoping SM will come up with some new ideas for next year.

Hi eggy

It can get cold in Lapland but it never seems to detract from its popularity with our groups as we go there every year (and the setting is lovely).

I'm afraid our Austria plans didn't work out this year, however, if we can tempt you with a second skiing holiday for 2010, we now have a fabulous Easter trip to the beautiful ski resort of Lake Louise in Canada. Details and photos are now on the website.

Regards

Keith
